Ask your student: - What does the term 'acceptance' mean? We use the definition "to celebrate and appreciate others for who they are." Lesson 4: Understanding how to show Acceptance We read the story The Proudest Blue by Ibihaj Muhammad. Ask your student: - Is it okay to notice differences in people? - How can we celebrate the way we are different to teach and learn from each other? |
